Every Word – A Paradox
Every person alive…
“But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
– Matthew 9:13 (NKJV)
Every person alive…

That’s who God is! “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.” – Psalm 86:5
A special promise… “I will write upon him my new name.” – Revelation 3:12 (KJV)
God often steps in. “‘Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me.’ And they obeyed the words of the Lord, and returned from going against Jeroboam.” – 2 Chronicles 11:4
[1.Kings 17:13, 14] And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.
There’s something wrong with that picture. “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” – Matthew 6:33
Do it again and again. “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” – John 8:11 NKJV
