Every Word – Check With God First

Think of what Jesus could have been! “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

Is God truly God? “By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” – 2 Peter 1:4 (NKJV)

The man was dead, not alive! “These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: ‘I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.’” – Revelation 3:1 NKJV

In the world but not of the world… “They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the Lord commanded them: but were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.” – Psalm 106:34-35

You might be surprised. “So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the Lord had destroyed before the children of Israel.” – 2 Chronicles 33:9
