It’s what Jesus said! “But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest.” – Luke 6:35

“Prayer isn’t working!” “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14

That’s who God is! “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” – 1 John 4:8

If we have to be here… “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.” – John 17:15

We might want to ask ourselves… “What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it?” – Isaiah 5:4

Can’t be bothered? “Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.” – Proverbs 4:26

Money in the bank? “The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eats little or much; but the abundance of the rich will not permit him to sleep. There is a severe evil which I have seen under the sun: riches kept for their owner to his hurt.” – Ecclesiastes 5:12-13

Imagine how God feels. “Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the Lord has spoken: ‘I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me; the ox knows its owner and the donkey its master’s crib; but Israel does not know, my people do not consider.’” – Isaiah 1:2-3
