Every Word – She Kissed His Feet

Grateful for grace…

“…stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.”
– Luke 7:38 NKJV

It was customary in Jesus day in Jesus culture
to wash the feet of honored guests Simon the

pharisee failed to provide that courtesy when
Jesus visited his home but a woman who invited

herself to Simon’s home took it upon herself to
wash Jesus feet with her tears Luke 7:38 says

she stood at his feet behind him weeping and she
began to wash his feet with her tears and wiped

them with the hair of her head and she kissed his
feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil she

fell at Jesus feet considered to be very much
a less honorable part of the body in Jesus day

and showed him great honor Jesus explained that
she loved much because she’d been forgiven much

forgiveness is a seriously big deal knowing
God has forgiven your sins should impact you

remember to always be grateful for grace
