His mistakes were real. “I have sinned greatly in what I have done; but now, I pray, O Lord, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done very foolishly.” – 2 Samuel 24:10 (NKJV)

He submitted to the will of God. “And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.” – Genesis 22:9 (KJV)

They’re all given for a reason… “And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the Mount Sion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father’s name written in their foreheads.” – Revelation 14:1

It’s who you are now that matters! “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.” – Philippians 3:13 KJV
